For flood victims who may have lost their vehicles to the water, there is now a service in town to help get people where they need to go.
Courtesy of AM Ford in Trail, a shuttle bus has been donated for use by flood victims. Lorraine Dick is working with Gabe Warriner to coordinate the volunteers to drive the shuttle.
The shuttle is free to evacuees, running from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days per week.
It runs pick-up, drop of and return in the Grand Forks area to take people to appointments, pick up prescriptions or groceries.
The number to call to request a ride is 250-442-7905.
