The Powder Alliance, a North American multi-resort season pass, is expanding into Canada with the addition of Silver Star Mountain Resort.
A collection of specialty ski resorts known for having amongst the best powder on the continent, the Powder Alliance represents 13 resorts with a combined total of 10,653 centimetres of annual fresh powder and 20,869 acres of skiable terrain.
“The Powder Alliance has been on our radar for quite some time. It offers exceptional value to our pass holders and allows them the freedom to explore other like-minded resorts within the U.S.,” said Anne Haight, Silver Star’s marketing director.

Season pass holders at all Powder Alliance ski resorts receive three free tickets at all other participating areas plus special offers on lodging, rentals, buddy tickets and more.
Silver Star receives 700 centimetres of annual snowfall per year and has more than 3,000 acres of skiable terrain and 115 marked runs.
Besides Silver Star, the Powder Alliance includes Crested Butte, Colo., Snowbasin Resort, Utah, Sierra-at-Tahoe, Calif., Stevens Pass, Wash., Timberline, Ore., Schweitzer, Idaho, Angel Fire Resort, N.M., Bridger Bowl, Mont., China Peak, Calif., Mountain High, Calif., Arizona Snowbowl, Ariz. and Mt Hood Skibowl, Ore.
