According to a Facebook post by Cheam First Nation, the schedule for completing construction on the Rosedale overhead has changed.
The paving subcontractor will pave Monday, with roadside barrier placement and drainage swale tie-ins done after paving is complete.
The post says there will be delays and alternating single-lane traffic on the overhead from June 18 to 22.
In late May traffic lights were removed from the construction zone as the project came closer to completion. The widening and seizmic upgrade construction has been underway since August, 2017 and is part of a two-phase provincial project to upgrade both bridges connecting Agassiz and Rosedale.
A timeline for the second phase – upgrades to the Agassiz Rosedale bridge – have not yet been released by the province.
