One man is injured in a single car accident that happened at around 8:00 a.m. this morning on the Pat Bay Highway.

The man, in his sixties, was travelling north the highway in the northbound lane when he lost control of the vehicle, striking the centre divider.

“That caused him to lose control of his vehicle, which caused him then to hit the barrier on the shoulder side of the road….” said Cst. Paul Brailey with Central Saanich Police.

His car then flipped over and landed on the shoulder barrier.

“It looks like it could have been related to a medical condition,” said Brailey.
