Swoop officially landed down in Abbotsford for the first time on Wednesday morning, as the inaugural flight from the low-fare airline departed from Hamilton and landed at Abbotsford International Airport (YXX) at 7:42 a.m.
The plane received a water cannon salute and comments from Steven Greenway, President and Chief Executive Officer of Swoop and Abbotsford Mayor Henry Braun followed.

The plane then took off from YXX and made its way back to Hamilton at 8:40 a.m.
