Small notebook, big impact

What a great way to support our community

This month being organized also means you get to make a valuable contribution to the construction of Kitimat’s very own dementia care facility.

Pyramid Office Supplies is donating the proceeds from the sale of its personalized notebooks in February to the Kitimat General Hospital Foundation (KGHF).

Foundation president Margaret Sanou said the foundation is delighted to have been chosen to benefit from the sales of the notebooks.

“What a great way to support our community – every bit helps. We hope lots of folks will support the dementia care project by heading over to Pyramid Office Supplies in February to buy a notebook,” said Sanou.

She said the foundation is focusing on providing funds to their sister society, the Kitimat Valley Housing Society, for the dementia care facility which they are working on together with Northern Health.

“The facility will be a wonderful addition to healthcare in Kitimat providing quality of life care for patients with dementia and also having a positive impact on the availability of acute care beds,” added Sanou.

Pyramid Office Supplies owner Heather Masch said the proceeds from the sale of the notebooks go to different organizations every month.

“For February, we are happy to choose the Kitimat General Hospital Foundation to receive those proceeds,” said Masch.

She said the notebooks fit comfortably into a purse or pocket, is available in three different colours and has plenty of space to write down important notes.
