Lower North Thompson 4-H Club member, Maddison Corrie of Louis Creek, encourages her horse ‘Archie’ to smile for friend Anna Horsch during a one day 4H Rally event held at the North Thompson Agriplex in Barriere.
The event was held on Sunday, May 12, and welcomed approximately 250 4-H junior and senior members who spent a full day judging livestock such as sheep, cattle, horses, and rabbits, as well as a photography display.
After the youths had judged a specific class, each individual then presented their reasons for the order in which
they had placed the class to an adult judge, the youth were then scored accordingly and winners were named.
