From New Year’s Day up until January 10 the department responded to 15 calls.
Included were three chimney fires, one motor vehicle accident with no serious injury, eight medical calls – one of which involved cardiac arrest… and a couple of burning complaints.
On that last item, Chief Sorensen indicated that compliance is on an upward trend with 2010 having 25 percent fewer complaint calls as compared with the previous year.
