Snow impacts traffic

It is slow going on many routes and particularly along 25th Avenue heading into Okanagan Landing

Thursday’s snowfall is creating some challenges for motorists.

It was slow going on many routes and particularly along 25th Avenue heading into Okanagan Landing earlier this morning.

Okanagan Avenue is also closed because of construction which has led to more traffic volume on 25th Avenue and Okanagan Landing Road.

Environment Canada is calling for periods of snow ending Thursday afternoon, then cloudy with 40 per cent chance of flurries.

Those who rely on the bus to get around are also impacted as most of Vernon Transit routes are out of order.
