HERE ARE the incidents requiring the presence of RCMP officers from 8 am Nov. 22 to 8 am Nov. 23, 2011.
Downtown Terrace
– a John Deere Tractor removing snow in the Skeena Mall Parking Lot backed into a white 1998 Chev Van causing minimal damage
– a woman was arrested for public intoxication on Lakelse Ave. She was transported to Mills Memorial Hospital.
– a man wearing a long dark coat, long hair, 5 ft 9, knocked over mannequins at a store on Lakelse Ave. Checks were done of area.
– a man was arrested for public intoxication on Park Ave
– a blue 2008 Dodge Caravan had its back window smashed out
– two suspicious men at the Husky on Lakelse Ave
Elsewhere Terrace
– a man wearing a long dark coat, long hair, intoxicated, was acting in an aggressive manner towards a person driving a tractor clearing snow on Emerson St / Park Ave. He was arrested for public intoxication and breaching his probation. Police believe he was also responsible for knocking the mannequins over.
– false business alarm on Earle St
– a green and grey Graco duo glider double stroller was stolen from a carport on Scott Ave during the night of Nov. 21/22
– break and enter to a residence on Scott Ave between Nov. 21, 5 PM and Nov. 22, 4 PM. A skill saw, reciprocating saw, cordless drill, and grinder were stolen.
– person reported $50 stolen from his pants while he slept. Witness said that this person was very intoxicated and most likely spent the money on alcohol.
– a man was hit on the head by a purse. The assailant became upset because the man was intoxicated and using a foul mouth around his son, her grandchild. No injuries.
– suspicious occurrence near the court house
– false business alarm on Park Ave
– false business alarm on Hwy 16
Thornhill
– black address numbers from the end of a driveway on a cedar post were stolen overnight on Churchill Drive
Rural
– false residential alarm on Old Lakelse Dr
