Ravi Parmar will serve a second term as chair of the Sooke school district’s board of education, while Dianna Seaton is the vice chair.
The two were acclaimed for the positions at the board’s inaugural meeting Tuesday. The positions are for a one-year term.

All school trustees were sworn in at the board meeting. They include Parmar, Seaton, Bob Beckett, Wendy Hobbs, Bob Phillips, Margot Swinburnson, and Allison Watson. Phillips, Swinburnson, and Watson represent Sooke on the board.
The Sooke school board and committees typically meet twice a month.
