Reports of gunfire into a South Surrey residence early Saturday morning are being investigated by police.
At approximately 3:30 a.m., Surrey RCMP responded to several 911 calls reporting shots fired in the 1700-block of King George Boulevard.
Officers found what appears to be “several gunshots into a residence.”
There were no injuries.
According to a news release issued just before 8:30 a.m., officers are conducting neighbourhood canvassing and speaking with witnesses to obtain further information.
The release said that while the investigation is still in its early stages, initial indications are that this is an isolated but targeted incident.
