The Fraser Cascade school trustees will be back at the board table a little earlier than usual.
An extra board meeting has been added to their schedule, for Tuesday, Aug. 27 at 5 p.m. The meeting is open to the public, and it will be a meeting to welcome the newest trustee, Cathy Speth, to the board. Speth will give her oath of office at the meeting, and it will be held at the Fraser Cascade district office.
Speth was voted in through a byelection earlier this summer, filling the vacancy created when long-time trustee Tom Hendrickson passed away.
The meeting will also go over the district’s Five Year Capital Plan, which outlines upgrades the district is planning to schools, playgrounds and their bus fleet.
