Station wagon crashes into supermarket in Nanaimo

No one hurt as car collides with new Quality Foods store in Harewood

The new Quality Foods store in Harewood got its first scratch today.

A station wagon crashed into the southwest corner of the grocery store at Bruce Avenue and Eighth Street at about 11 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 16.

No one was hurt, said firefighters at the scene. Nanaimo Fire Rescue and B.C. Ambulance Service attended and the Subaru needed to be towed away.
