100 Mile RCMP responded to 137 complaints and calls for service during the past week.
Help sought
Sometime over the long weekend suspect(s) entered a log-home manufacturer on Tatton Station Road in 105 Mile and stole several power tools, including chain saws, scribers and sanders.
The total value of the items is estimated around $12,000.
Anyone who has information on this break, enter and theft is asked to call the 100 Mile House RCMP Detachment at 250-395-2456 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
Purse theft
On Aug. 2 at 11:41 a.m., 100 Mile House RCMP received the complaint of theft from a vehicle parked in the 900 Block of Alder Ave.
A purse and contents were taken from the vehicle. Police located and arrested the suspect.
Charges of theft under $5,000 are being recommended against the 34-year-old 100 Mile House woman.
Motorcycle collision
On July 31 at 4:59 p.m., 100 Mile House RCMP, 100 Mile House Traffic Services and Clinton RCMP received several 9-1-1 calls of a motorcycle collision near 83 Mile on Highway 97.
Both detachments responded and located a single male rider who was thrown from his motorcycle near 81 Mile. Investigation revealed the rider had missed the corner and struck the ditch and was ejected from his motorcycle.
He suffered a broken hand, broken foot and broken ribs due to the collision. The 48-year-old Kelowna man was also investigated for impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
He refused to provide samples and was charged with refusing to provide a sample. Investigation into the matter is ongoing.
