Sumas Mountain Inter-regional Park has re-opened just in time for the Family Day long weekend.
The City of Abbotsford unlocked the gate leading to the park on Thursday after getting the all-clear from BC Hydro, whose crew had been hard at work clearing the road of debris on the road.
The gate is now open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The park had been closed since early January, when an ice storm brought trees and branches down on across Abbotsford.
