NEWTON — The city wants to alert the public that the Surrey Fire Service (SFS) Training Branch will be conducting three “live burns” using wood products as the fuel between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday (March 28).
The training will take place at 14923 64th Avenue.
“Please note due to the nature of the live burn training that smoke will be visible in the surrounding areas,” states a city release. “Signs advising of Training in Progress will be in place in the immediate training area of 64th Ave.”
