Police say a 40-year-old Surrey man is dead after a crash on Delta Port Way this morning.
At approximately 2:40 a.m., police received a report of a crash between a car and a semi truck on Delta Port Way near Arthur Drive.
Police say initial indications are that the car travelling eastbound on Delta Port crossed into the westbound lanes and crashed into the semi-truck head on.
The driver of the car died on the way to the hospital, police say, and his next of kin has been notified.
The driver of the semi was taken to hospital, but appears not to be physically injured, police say.
