Surrey man last seen at his place of work in Langley Feb. 19

Jeffery Kooistra, 50, called home to say he would be home in 30 minutes. He hasn't been heard from since.

On Feb. 19, Surrey resident Jeffery Frank Kooistra, 50, called home to say he would be there in 30 minutes. He hasn’t been heard from since.

It’s out of character for Kooistra not to be in contact with his family. Now RCMP are hoping the public can help locate him. Kooistra was last seen leaving his place of work in north Langley on Feb. 19.

He is thought to have taken a bus to Fraser Highway and 152 Street.  He called home at that time, around 4 p.m., and was expected to arrive a half an hour later. He did not return home and it is out of character for him not to make contact, said police.

Kooistra is described as Caucasian, 50 years old, 5’10” tall, medium build, with short, light brown hair and blue eyes.  He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black hoodie and black running shoes.
