Surrey RCMP continue to investigate an overnight shooting in a residential neighbourhood.
No one was hurt after multiple shots were fired at a home in the 9100-block of 138 A Street at about 1 a.m. Sunday.
Surrey RCMP Sgt. Maureen Hickey said investigators have yet to determine the motive behind the shooting.
“The family was sleeping,” she said. “They were woken up by multiple shots being fired.”
There are no other details and the area is now open.
“Right now it is still under investigation by our plain clothes section,” added Hickey.
