SURREY — The Surrey School District has organized several events aimed at informing parents about drug use trends and mental health issues affecting youth.
“Surrey School District staff and community agencies will be in attendance to provide information and resources on the services and supports available for Surrey youth and their families,” organizers say.
Five informal “Conversation Cafes” are planned. The first on Oct. 18 (Clayton Heights Secondary, 7003 188th St.), then on Oct 19 at Johnston Heights Secondary (15350 99th Ave), Oct. 25 at Semiahmoo Secondary (1785 148th St.), Oct 26 at Tamanawis Secondary (12600 66th Ave.) and finally on Nov. 3 at Kwantlen Park Secondary (10441 132nd St.)
