West Kelowna district council will host an open house next week to provide information and gather public input on this year’s municipal budget and strategic plan, as well as the district’s move to reclassify itself as a city.
The open house will take place at the Westbank library branch in Westridge Mall on Main Street in Westbank on March 4 from 5 to 8 p.m.
The Talk Budget and More with West Kelowna Council event will include a review of the 2015-2024 Financial Plan and show how residents’ tax dollars will be spent and what big ticket capital items are in the works.
Information about council’s draft 2015-2018 Strategic Plan will also be available at the open house.
