A Grade 6 teacher is saying “let it snow.”
Or rather, he’s singing it. Mr. Bloch from Mount Slesse middle school in Chilliwack created a parody video for staff and students to enjoy while schools were closed for the day.
Using the melody for Disney’s popular song Let it Go from Frozen, he worked teachers’ and students’ names into the song. The video, complete with lyrics, is available to watch on YouTube.
They weren’t the only teachers using this region-wide snow day for a little creative fun.
Principal Chris Wejr from Shortreed elementary in Langley really got into the spirit with a video of himself singing his own version of Michael Buble’s hit song, Home.
With so many creative videos about snow days… thought I would share one… and let you all know we miss ya! Hard to believe Mr Wejr has never had a singing lesson! Haha! 🙂
The message behind both videos was the same – enjoy the snow day, kids!
