A 13-year-old boy was hit by a pickup truck in Chilliwack on Thursday.
RCMP, BC Ambulance Service and firefighters responded to the scene shortly after 4 p.m. Thursday (May 27) at Young Road between Reece and King avenues.
The road was blocked off for a time, but the boy was reportedly not badly injured.
Details of the incident are unknown. There is no crosswalk where the collision took place, although there are marked crosswalks north and south of the location at Reece and Lewis avenues.
