Construction works occurring near the parking lot south of Guerard’s Furniture, off Backstreet Boulevard, will trigger temporary changes to parking in that area.
Starting Monday, Sept. 17 through to Friday, Sept. 28, parking in this lot will be temporally closed for the installation of underground utilities. Until further notice, monthly permit holders from both the north and south lots will be consolidated in the south lot. Additionally, the two dedicated handicapped parking stalls across from the car charging station will be unavailable.
“The city recognizes the importance of parking in this area and is committed to completing this phase of the project as quickly as possible. We thank motorists in advance for their understanding and patience,” said electric utility manager, Shawn Filice.
