Police are asking for the public’s help after a woman was found with serious injuries early Sunday morning, Feb. 26.
Just after 7 a.m., police attended an address on Medeek Avenue for a report of a woman located inside with serious injuries. The woman was flown to hospital in Vancouver.
It is still early in the investigation, but police are reminding people of the importance of making sure their home is secure.
“It’s always a good idea to check your doors and windows before going to bed for the night, said Sgt. Michael Robinson of the Terrace RCMP.
“And be aware of what’s happening in your community. If you see something or hear something in your neighbourhood that seems odd or suspicious, take note and call police.”
Police are asking anyone who saw anything between midnight and 7 a.m. on February 26, 2017 in the area of Medeek Avenue and Craig Avenue to contact police immediately.
Terrace RCMP Forensic Identification and Police Dog Services teams attended the area and some evidence was collected. Police officers continue to conduct neighbourhood inquiries.
