Police say three men have been charged in connection with the first degree and pre-meditated murder of 24-year-old Jordan McLeod.
McLeod was murdered on Jan. 16, 2015 on the Upper Fraser Road in Prince George.
“This was a very comprehensive investigation that spanned multiple jurisdictions and involved many dedicated officers,” said Sgt. Todd Wilson, commander of the Prince George General Investigative Services Serious Crime Unit.
“Along with the Detachment General Investigative Services and our Major Crime Unit, we were assisted by RCMP Officers from Vanderhoof, Quesnel, Williams Lake, Merritt, the North District Major Crime Unit, BC Provincial Interview Team, Prince George General Duty Members, and the Prince George Police Dog Service Unit which spent countless hours in assisting us while we were looking for Jordan.”
The Chevrolet Malibu McLeod was last driving was located two weeks after his death near the Rudy Johnson Bridge, north of Williams Lake.
On Friday, Aug. 7, Provincial Crown counsel filed charges against Darren Sundman, 33, Kurtis Sundman, 26, and Sebastian Martin, 42.
All three suspects were arrested over the weekend and are expected to make court appearances later Monday.
