Three homes and two garages are destroyed by fire that started at approximately 10 p.m., Thursday, March 27 on Sunset West and Fenchurch Avenue in Princeton.
All the occupants including; two single males and an older couple all escaped unscathed. Reports include that even a tiny guinea pig was rescued from the flames.
At approximately 11 p.m., the Keremeos Fire Department was called in to assist the Princeton Volunteer Fire Brigade. Keremeos Chief Jordy Bosscha said his crew returned to home station at approximately 5:30 a.m., this morning.
Details of what started the fire are unknown at this time. Investigation is underway. As of 8 a.m., Friday morning, Princeton firefighters remain on scene.

Two local businesses have joined in the effort to provide help. Princeton’s Cooper’s Foods is accepting donations and The Hut has designated a bin for bottles and cans to assist with the collection of donations as well.
