First responders used the Jaws of Life to remove a driver from a vehicle in north Nanaimo this morning.
Firefighters, RCMP and paramedics are on scene at a three-vehicle collision at the intersection of Uplands Drive and Oliver Road a little after 8:30 a.m. Thursday.
According to reports, three people were taken to hospital, including one who had been extricated from a vehicle with the use of the Jaws of Life.
A muscle car and a pickup truck were wrecked in the crash and a compact car was also clipped.
The intersection is closed.
