A three-vehicle collision that occurred on the night of Dec. 10 at the intersection of Railway Street and Duncan Avenue has left one person in hospital.
Authorities believe that the collision, which occurred around 5:30 p.m., was the result of a vehicle attempting to turn left onto Duncan Avenue from Railway Street, but failed to yield to an oncoming vehicle travelling north on Railway Street.
“The vehicle travelling north on Railway Street was unable to stop in time, and collided with a vehicle turning left,” said Penticton RCMP Const. James Grandy.

This collision is currently under investigation by Penticton Detachment Traffic Services.
