Three vehicles were involved in a collision that has caused a few traffic tie-ups this morning near Nanaimo’s Terminal Park Mall.
Emergency crews were called out at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 16, to the crash at the intersection of Terminal Avenue, Princess Royal Avenue and St. George Street.
Vehicle occupants were being tended to by paramedics and two people were transported to hospital. Access from Princess Royal to Terminal Avenue is blocked as crews work to clear the scene.
According to ICBC data, there were six crashes at that intersection in 2019 and 46 crashes there during the five-year period from 2015-2019.
