On April 16, the Thompson-Nicola Regional District is hosting a free disposal day for residents at the 70 Mile House Eco-Depot.
Residents can bring in one free load of waste per household. One load is defined as a full size truck box full, or up to an eight-foot trailer.
No business or commercial loads accepted for free.
During the entire month of April, residents can bring in their household hazardous waste for free, proper disposal at the 70 Mile House Eco-Depot. Examples of household hazardous waste are items labelled corrosive, poisonous, toxic or flammable.
No business, commercial or institutional hazardous waste will be accepted.
