Despite chilly temperatures, Market Avenue was hopping in Grand Forks for the first day of the Family Fun Day weekend. Some of the events that took place were: road hockey with firefighter and Border Bruins, winter golf put on by Christina Lake Golf Course, free hot dogs, free movie at GEM Theatre, fire truck rides, and much more.
More events take place on Sunday with free skiing and hot dogs at Phoenix Mountain Ski Hill. Monday sees free skating and free swimming at the GF Rec Centre, plus fun activities at Dick Bartlett Park put on by Pines Bible Camp.
