Guillermo Ferrero is the new city manager of the Town of Ladysmith.
Ferrero, who will also be Ladysmith’s CAO, will start his new job on June 15.
He has extensive experience with the City of Nanaimo, where he has served as manager of business applications and ERP systems, manager of revenue services and financial systems and currently as director legislative services, information technology and communications.
In each role, Ferrero executed innovation and improvement, and he received the 2013 Bronze Innovative Management National Award from the Institute of Public Administration in Canada for the implementation of eTown Halls.
