One person was sent to hospital after a three vehicle crash in Pitt Meadows Thursday morning.
The crash happened about 7 a.m. in the westbound lanes along Lougheed Highway between Allen Way and Dewdney Trunk Road.
Pitt Meadows fire chief Mike Larsson said it was a three vehicle rear-ender that blocked the left and middle lanes for about an hour and a half, snarling traffic for the morning commute.
Firefighters were on scene for about one hour.

A vehicle also collided with a power pole at 224th Street and Abernethy Way in Maple Ridge.
The collision involved two vehicles and occurred around 7:40 a.m. Thursday.
B.C. Ambulance responded and all occupants were reported out of the vehicles.
The pole was sheered, according to reports.
In Albion, a West Coast Express train is running behind schedule after it was forced to apply its emergency brake to avoid a car at the crossing, according to a tweet posted online by a commuter.

Also, there was a stalled semi eastbound east of the Pitt River Bridge and the right lane was blocked.
