Vernon residents have a chance to speak out about transit.
B.C. Transit is seeking public feedback at five transit consultation stations Sept. 22 and 23.
“Through these sessions, B.C. Transit seeks input on proposed route changes, including the creation of a new route to connect downtown to north Vernon,” said Jonathon Dyck, communications manager.
Changes to the following routes are also planned for March 2018:
· 2 Pleasant Valley
· 3 Alexis Park
· 7 OK Landing
· 8 Bella Vista
“These changes are part of the North Okanagan transit future plan and aim to improve transit efficiency by reducing duplication and streamlining routing,” said Dyck.
“Feedback gathered through these public consultations will help our planning and scheduling teams to create final routing and schedules.”
