DriveBC has issued a travel advisory for motorists on Highways 1 and 97 today (Sunday, Sept. 2) due to forecast heavy rainfall and a potential risk of debris flow.
Heavy rainfall is forecast from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. from Cache Creek to Clinton — a 38.8-kilometre section of road, and DriveBC is warning a closure of the highway just south of Clinton may result due to a risk of debris flows.
