The Town of Smithers is advising that due to high winds, there is an extremely dangerous situation on Rosenthal Road, with a tree on a live power line.
The Town is asking residents to avoid this area while crews work to resolve this issue.
The outage around Rosenthal Road has affected 419 customers.
