Volunteers at Cawston Primary School continue to help students grow their reading skills through a One to One Reading Program,
The recent passing of a champion in the volunteer tutoring program, Marilyn Harris, saddened teachers, tutors and young learners at Cawston Primary.

The present outreach to new volunteers is to build the ranks of regular and spare tutors.
Tutoring happens at Cawston Primary on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings.
Formal and informal orientation to tutoring is provided locally and through province-wide One to One Reading resources.
The usual Criminal Record checks apply as with anyone volunteering with kids.
