Two arrests have been made following a shooting in North Delta early Thursday morning.
Delta Police responded to a report of shots fired in the 7700-block of 117 Street at 12:20 a.m. and after confirming a residence and vehicle had been fired upon, arrested two males from Delta.
There were no injuries in the residence or the surrounding area. Police located a gold Honda vehicle believed to be involved, and with the assistance of Surrey RCMP, arrested the two men.
Both are in custody and charges are pending.
An investigation into what Delta Police are calling a targeted shooting is underway. The residents of the targeted house are not cooperating with police.
Police say the shooting is the first in Delta since May 2015.
Hours earlier, at approximately 8:30 p.m. Wednesday evening, police responded to a call of shots fired in the 8500-block of 114 Street. Police found no evidence of a shooting, but a white Chrysler 300, a gold Honda and a white Lincoln were seen leaving the area.
