There appear to have been no serious injuries in a pair of crashes within a couple of kilometres of each other on Highway 1 in Abbotsford late Saturday afternoon.
One vehicle appears to have rolled over multiple times in the eastbound lane near the McCallum Road overpass, shortly following a multiple-vehicle crash in the same lane near Whatcom Road.
Good luck driving through #Abbotsford right now on #BCHwy1. Two crashes – one just west of McCallum and the other by Whatcom, both in eastbound. #DriveBC pic.twitter.com/MyXOqemvYj

An image of the rollover shows a car that has taken some damage, but despite that there do not appear to have been serious injuries resulting from the crash.
Think you're safe heading west, though? Not quite. pic.twitter.com/o7dEOR70WZ

Traffic is backed up in both directions — east and westbound — along Highway 1, with Google Maps estimating the drive eastbound through Abbotsford to take a little over half an hour. Westbound, that is estimated at 11 minutes.
These shots from the @DriveBC_LM camera on the McCallum overpass, 15 minutes apart. Left appears to be lineup from the Whatcom crash, right is where the rollover happened. #Abbotsford pic.twitter.com/boL9y6DhhG
