Two men have been arrested in connection to a suspected meth lab on Marshall Road.
Const. Ian MacDonald said the men are aged 20 and 30, and charges are being considered.
Abbotsford Police conducted a search warrant for drugs at the home – located near Everett Road – on Sunday morning.
Based on what they found, they then called in members of the RCMP clandestine drug lab team and Abbotsford Fire Rescue Service’s hazmat team.
MacDonald said a number of materials were found at the scene, but it will take some time for lab testing to confirm their chemical content.
However, police believe the materials were being used to make methamphetamine, MacDonald said.
He said more information will be released as the investigation progresses.
Investigators were on scene all day and overnight into the early-morning hours.
