Two Kelowna men and two West Kelowna teenagers have been charged with multiple offences relating to a home invasion that took place early Sunday morning.
On Feb. 5, at 12:10 a.m., Kelowna RCMP received a 911 call from a residence on the 1300 block of Highland Drive South.
The four suspects are alleged to have kicked in the front door, assaulted one of the residents and stolen several items from the residence.
The suspects were located fleeing the area, still in possession of the stolen goods.
Charles Hayworth, Christopher Whitmore, a 16-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy were all taken into custody.
Hayworth, Whitmore and the girl are scheduled to attend court on Thursday, while the teenage boy is set to appear in court on Tuesday, Feb. 14.
All four have been charged with multiple offences stemming from the incident. Some of the charges include break and enter, assault, possession of property obtained by crime, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, mischief and uttering threats.
