RCMP are investigating after two men were sent to hospital in serious condition following a shooting in Rutland Sunday night.On September 6th around 10:50pm, RCMP responded to a report of shots fired in the 1400 block on Terai Road. A man was heard yelling, then a series of gunshots were fired which were followed by silence. Numerous RCMP officers, including the Police Dog Services, investigated the scene, although a thorough search didn’t locate any suspects.At 11:00pm Emergency Health Services (EMS) responded to a report of a 27 year-old male gunshot victim in a house in Rutland. At 11:02pm, EHS responded to a second gunshot victim, a 33 year-old male at a different residence in Rutland.Both men were transported to Kelowna General Hospital in serious condition. They are both from Kelowna, and neither has provided RCMP with details of the incidents.The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to call the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.
