A young man was arrested after two teens were stabbed at a home in east Maple Ridge Saturday night.

Police received multiple calls about an incident in the 11,000-block of 237th Street, near Kanaka Way, at 9:50 p.m.

One of the teens, 17 and 18 years old, was taken to hospital by helicopter with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police. He and the other teen expected to recover.

A police dog was brought in to search the area. A 19-year-old man was arrested, but has been released from police custody on a promise to appear in court at a later date.

Police do not believe it was a random attack.
