A two-vehicle collision has occured at the intersection of Ross Street and the Trans-Canada Highway in Salmon Arm.
Around 2:50 p.m. on Oct. 25 the vehicles hit at the intersection, which is near the KFC restaurant in Salmon Arm.
Traffic is still moving in the area, though the eastbound lane of the Trans-Canada is closed while cleanup is occuring and B.C. Sherrifs are directing traffic.
Rescue services were called to the scene to clean up and extract the driver of one vehicle out of the wrecked car door. The extent of the injuries are unknown at this time but two people are being transported to hospital.
