A two-vehicle collision happened in Vanderhoof city limits on Jan. 24.
One vehicle that was southbound on Burrard Street making a left turn on Victoria Street collided with another vehicle that was northbound on Burrard at approximately 12:30 p.m.

“A couple of factors seem to be the cause — not yielding, maybe speed was involved as well as equipment on the car. The tires are not adequate for the weather conditions,” said Sgt. Rodney Guthrie of the RCMP detachment in the district.
There were two people each in both the cars. They were checked by the ambulance and have been relieved as there were minor injuries, said Guthrie.
