Traffic has been temporarily obstructed near the corner of Leckie Road and Enterprise Way in Kelowna due to a two-vehicle accident that occurred at about 11 a.m.
The crash involved a Chevrolet pickup truck slamming into a Dodge Caravan adjacent to the entrance/exit to the Kelowna Chrysler dealership.
The driver of the van, a woman, was traveling with a toddler, while the truck had just a male driver.
Kelowna firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to carefully extricate the woman from the van.
Her injuries were unknown as her vehicle collided with the truck on the front driver’s side.
The police investigation into the accident is continuing.
