Did you feel it? Earthquakes Canada is confirming an earthquake at 1:35 p.m. Friday centering 46 kilometers south east of Ucluelet.
The initial magnitude was 4.0 though it has since been upgraded to 4.5.

According to Citizen readers, it was fet in Cobble Hill, Boys Road, downtown Duncan, Sherman Road area, Sahtlam and beyond.
“My chair shook with me in it Lake Cowichan,” reported Vicki Miller.

“I sure did,” said Shelagh Glanville. “My house rocked and pictures swung for about seven seconds!”
“Yes!” added Dana Adzich. “House rolled a few times.”
This is the second earthquake to hit the west coast today; Agassiz and Harrison residents felt a 1.6 magnitude at 11 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23 that was three kilometres east-northeast of Agassiz.
