The public is invited to an open house about recent changes at Brydon Park. The event was rescheduled from its original October date.
An open house is now scheduled in the CKF room of Langley City hall on Wednesday, Nov. 14.
The Park Operations department is hosting the event to give the community a chance to talk about the park, located at 198th Street and 53rd Avenue. (Brydon Lagoon is adjacent to the Nicomekl River but is not part of Brydon Park.)
From 5 to 7 p.m. on Nov. 14, people can stop by chambers in Langley City hall, 20399 Douglas Cres.
Brydon Park is currently partially developed with a children’s play, sports court, ball diamond, picnicking, washrooms and seating. The undeveloped portion is treed with some informal paths. Recent improvements include installation of new play equipment to replace aging pieces, however, improvements for the whole park are being considered and people can see the suggested changes at the open house or online.
